Biography

Agnieszka received her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Poland. As a graduate student, she was awarded the Stefan Batory Foundation Scholarship and she spent 6 months at the Indiana University. She moved to the USA and joined the Indiana Geological Survey in 2002. She has been working with scientists from USA and all over the world on a variety of collaborative geoscience projects focusing on energy research, critical elements, and biomass fuels. Agnieszka has received a prestigious grant of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange within Polish Returns Programme and in the fall of 2022, she assumed a research position at the University of Silesia and the Centre for Biomass Energy Research and Education in Katowice, Poland.
