Limestone Fest

  • Explore the geologic, cultural, and artistic heritage of Indiana limestone with this fun, family-friendly event!
  • Saturday, June 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Limestone carving, climbing wall, fossil crafts, cave critters, historic preservation, and more
  • Free parking in the IU Forrest Avenue garage

Limestone Heritage Teacher's Workshop

  • Gain firsthand knowledge of Monroe County's geoheritage
  • Connect the geologic, cultural, and artistic heritage of Indiana limestone to classroom standards
  • Earn up to 24 Professional Growth Points and a $150 stipend
  • Open to all Monroe County educators
