ANNOTATION: This map shows the thickness of unconsolidated deposits in the western quarter of the Muncie and eastern quarter of the Lafayette 1:100,000-scale quadrangles. The map was created with computer gridding and contouring software by computing the difference between a 60-meter topographic surface grid extracted from U.S. Geological Survey digital elevation models and the 60-meter grid that underlies the bedrock surface contours shown on OFS 00-15.

Notes: Publications in the Indiana Geological Survey Open-File series have been inconsistently named using a variety of series titles including "Open-File Report," "Open-File Map," and "Open-File Study." Prior to 1994, a publication in this series was generally referred to as an "Open-File Report" (but not always).
