Information regarding observations of the well/location by an IGS geologist. Whenever possible, the location and elevation of every well in Indiana is checked in the field. Most well locations and elevations in Indiana have been verified in this way.
Caution. Complete data observed in the field have not been systematically added to the PDMS for wells drilled before 2001, although Field Check Status, which basically indicates whether, and how reliably, the location has been checked, is entered where available in the Well Header for every well in the database.

The number is not visible online, but is included with other data when the Field Check Subtable is downloaded so the user can maintain the PDMS table relationships for use in other software applications. |
