The Deepest Formation data field in the General Field Information Summary of the Fields and Production Module of the PDMS records the deepest formation stratigraphic unit or geologic unit penetrated in a Petroleum Field.
The Deepest Formation for any given field is automatically queried from PDMS by comparing the TD Formation values for every well within the Field Outline and selecting the stratigraphically deepest TD Formation to be used as the Deepest Formation for the field.
