Search by Permit Number
see discussion: Permit
Number
- No other search criteria
may be used in combination with the Permit
Number.
Search Using a Single Permit Number
- Enter the Permit Number in the
Permit Number Input Box
- Click the <search>
button at the bottom of the page.
- If only one well is found in
the search, the Well
Record Page for that well will open.
- If multiple wells match the
Permit Number (which does happen in
the case of wells permitted under a Blanket Permit), a list of the
wells is shown on the Search Results
Page.
- Click on the IGS
ID Number on the left of a record to open its Well Record Page.
- It is not uncommon for multiple
Permit Numbers to be associated with a single well (which cannot happen
with IGS ID Numbers), because prior to a time in the early 1990s,
a new permit was issued for each new Well
Event. A search result that matches any one of the well's permit
numbers will retrieve the well in the Search Results.
For example, searching for any one of the Permit Numbers <7381>,
<30463>, or <42231> returns the Well Record Page for the
well identified by IGS ID 115689 because each of these numbers are
associated with at least one of the Wells Well
Event.
Search Using a Multiple Permit
Numbers
To
search the PDMS using multiple Permit
numbers, the list of numbers to enter should be separated by commas.
For
example:
- A search for the list < 3347, 37325,
14635 > retrieves a list of 3 wells on the Search
Results Page because each number
belongs to a separate well.
- Left-clicking on any of the IGS ID Numbers
on the Results Page takes the user to the Well
Record Page for the selected
well.
