The Search Results Page contains a list of wells in the PDMS that meet the criteria specified by the user on the Search Menu. If more records are retrieved than can fit on the page, the remaining records can be viewed by clicking the <Next> button on the bottom of the page.
The default list of wells found shows only the most recent Well Event for each well, despite the fact that a well may be shown in the list because the search found a match in an earlier Well Event. For example, one of the wells returned in a search of the entire PDMS for the operator name "Texaco," is IGS ID 132223, shown on the list as the Becker (operator) No. 1 Cooper (lease) well; the name "Texaco" is not displayed for that well. The message "The Search returned x Results" on the default list indicates that the number of records on the list (x) is the same as the number of wells returned by the search.
The user may select the option <Click here to see all well events> to display all of the Well Events for every well on the list. In that case, x equals the combined number of Well Events for all wells returned in the search. For the example well, three Well Events are displayed, and the second event shows the operator name "Texaco."
The <Download Results> button opens the Download Menu which allows the user to download Microsoft Excel files (spreadsheets) containing all or part of the PDMS data for the selected wells.
The <Printer Friendly> button opens an Internet browser window with a printable copy of the Search Results Page. The number of results on the printable copy corresponds to the number of results displayed on the page. In other words, if only the latest Well Events are shown on the Search Results Page (the default option), only those Events will be included on the printable copy. However, if the <see all well events> option is selected, then all Events for every well will be included on the printable copy.
Clicking on the IGS ID label for any listed well will open the Well Record Page for that well. The Well Record Page will then contain a <Back to Search Results> button that returns the user to the Search Results Page.
Clicking the <Reset Form> clears the Search Results Page and returns to a fresh Search Menu.
