Searching for specific Land Units is generally done by specifying several criteria that identify the unit. A search includes some or all of the following parameters:

Only wells matching the Land Unit Type, in combination with other selected search criteria, will be returned in the Search Results. Available search selections are:

Enter the Land Unit Number to search for. Only one number may be selected for a single search. Only wells with matching numbers, in combination with other selected search criteria, will be returned in the Search Results.
Most, but not all Land Units are numbered.
Some are identified by both a Number and Name (Land Unit Name).
Every Land Unit that is not identified by a number, is instead identified by a name proper name, the Land Unit Name.

Land Unit Names are proper names used to indicate specific units of land; not to be confused with Land Unit Types (Section, Commons, ...), which are the names of categories of land units.
Relatively few Land Units are named; so, searching by Land Unit Name is normally inappropriate.
