Information recorded for the well, generally at the time it is processed by the IGS. Except for the Date Commenced data field, the data are related to administrative or statistical reporting.
The PostDrill Subtable contains the following data:
Identification number for each PostDrill record is automatically assigned by Microsoft SQL Server. The number is not visible online, but is included with other data when the PostDrill Subtable is downloaded so the user can maintain the PDMS table relationships in other software applications.
The date drilling commenced on a well for a particular Well Event. This date is not generally reported on the official Completion Report, but can often be found on a Scout Ticket. If unknown, the data field is left blank.
Caution. Data have not been systematically entered in the PDMS for wells completed prior to 2001.
The date on which the completion information of the associated Well Event was posted by the IGS for statistical reporting purposes. This date is stamped on the Completion Report when it is received from the Division of Oil and Gas.
Caution. Data have not been systematically entered in the PDMS for wells completed prior to 2001.
The name of the geologist who entered and/or reviewed and entered the data for the current Well Event.
Caution. Reviewed By data has not been systematically entered in the PDMS for wells completed prior to 2001.
IGS internal classification for statistical reporting purposes.
Caution. Data have not been systematically entered in the PDMS for wells completed prior to 2001. The following table describes the values for Well Class used in the PDMS.
IGS Well Class is still entered in the PDMS, but it is no longer used as to create reports by the IGS. Today, this type of information can be queried directly from the PDMS tables. Since we enter IGS Well Class data while other data are being entered for the PostDrill Subtable, it takes very little time to continue adding the IGS Well Class data until we are absolutely sure it will no longer be useful.
For additional discussion and definitions, refer to the topic, IGS Well Class.
Classification used to report annual drilling statistics to American Petroleum Institute. Data have not been systematically entered in the PDMS for wells completed prior to 2001.
Date Reviewed is the date that the subject Well Event and Well Record were reviewed by an IGS geologist.
