UTM X and UTM Y are the location coordinates in the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) coordinate system. The PDMS uses the UTM system to plot petroleum well locations.
The geodetic network is North American Datum 83 (NAD 83), Zone 16.
X-Coordinate (east-west). Each unit value equals one meter. Numbers become increasingly large to the east.
Y-Coordinate (north-south). Each unit value equals one meter. Numbers become increasingly large to the north.
