Search by Completion Formation

See PDMS usage of the term: Completion Formation

1. Select the Geologic Unit or formation in which the well is completed.
2. The search can include multiple formations. To search for more than one formation at a time, continuously hold down the Control Key and select formations by left-clicking on the Formation Names one-at-a-time in the Completion Formation dropdown list. The search results will return all of the wells completed in any of the selected formations that match other criteria specified for the search.

The term "formation" is used in the common petroleum industry vernacular and does not necessarily denote formal stratigraphic nomenclature.
